Elbe Philharmonic Hall – TAURUS rail system, specially designed according to architectural consensus.

An individual high-tech fall protection system as a special solution from INNOTECH - 490 running metres of TAURUS rail as well as around 400 fasteners. The TAURUS rail system guarantees the safety of all persons climbing onto the roof of the Elbphilharmonie for cleaning and maintenance work.

Special solution for the famous Hamburg concert hall

The technical challenge for Research & Development: the complex wave form of the architect's free-form lines required system development at the highest level. Thus, specially curved rails were planned that fit the curved roof shape like a second skin. Likewise, a special rail connector was developed that absorbs the stronger thermal expansions of the aluminium and protects the extensive system against possible impairments due to solar radiation.

Individual security concepts are one of INNOTECH's core competences. With the department for special solutions, TOA (Technique of Application), the company can offer concepts for any building shape that integrate optimally into the architecture. The department, consisting of several technicians and designers, deals exclusively with the planning, construction and production of special solutions.
