The European Society for Fall Protection (ESFP e.V.) has developed a manufacturer-neutral qualification standard that replaces the previous mandatory training for certified professionals. INNOTECH Arbeitsschutz GmbH is now offering these training courses as an official ESFP training provider.
Two levels. A clear structure.
The new system consistently distinguishes between installation and inspection—two activities that require different skill sets.
ESFP Level 1 qualifies participants to install simple, manufacturer-neutral pAE systems. The training lasts one day, and the certificate is valid for 5 years. It is intended for anyone who must professionally install permanent anchorage devices—and is mandatory training for installation personnel.
ESFP Level 2 qualifies participants to inspect and maintain complex, INNOTECH-specific systems. This training also lasts one day; the certificate is valid for 3 years. It is intended for technical and installation personnel who inspect and maintain existing systems.
Those who wish to complete both levels can choose the recommended combined course (2 days, 2 certificates).
Recognized. Comparable. Mandatory.
The ESFP qualification is valid industry-wide—regardless of the manufacturer. It establishes comparable competencies and a clear basis for documentation of installation and inspection activities. For companies that rely on legal certainty and the obligation to provide evidence, this is no minor detail.
Once the validity period expires, a one-day refresher course is sufficient—a complete repeat of the training is not required.
