AIO lifeline system – passable, non-passable – OVERHEAD All-in-One lifeline system, passable for overhead applications

The AIO OVERHEAD ROPE SYSTEM (passable, non-passable) is used wherever a horizontal line needs to be secured overhead. Whether along a maintenance walkway or for machine safety, the lifeline system provides reliable protection against falls (from a height). It also adapts to complex building and façade structures and is suitable for attachment to a wide range of substructures. The modular system components enable simple and error-free installation. The pulley types, specially developed for overhead applications, ensure optimum movement through bends and intermediate brackets.

AIO lifeline system – passable, non-passable – OVERHEAD - Technical data

The main component of the system is our sturdy and tried-and-tested 8 mm stainless steel cable. The cable, in combination with the various individual components – such as the passable and non-passable intermediate brackets and curved elements, the end lock and a slider designed specifically for overhead applications – forms a coherent overall system. The cable system can be mounted on a wide variety of substructures.

Reduction in installation effort
Depending on the substructure, the fastening distance can be up to 7.5 m. From a cost-effectiveness perspective, the large fastening distance has a positive impact on the entire installation process.

Easy inspection of operational readiness
The clearly visible cable fixing allows for an accurate assessment of the cable clamping and thus a simple check of the cable system’s operational readiness (end lock with viewing window).

Consistent cable tension
The adjustable, constant cable pre-tension is located at each end of the cable system and ensures consistent cable tension, even in the event of temperature fluctuations.

PRODUCT UPDATES

The new AIO-GLEIT-22 glider, which is passable, will be available from the end of May. Not only does it combine the functions of the existing gliders (suitable for both bends and straight sections), but it can also be attached to and removed from any point in the system. The optimised roller geometry ensures smooth movement within the system. It is supplied in a handy carry bag.
