Guardrail system
BARRIER FLEECE
The BARRIER-FLEECE guardrail system is used wherever fall edges on flat roofs with a pitch (inclination) of up to 10° need to be secured. It forms a barrier to the fall edge, allowing all persons on the roof to move around safely. This system is only suitable in combination with a green roof structure or gravel fill and has been specially developed for this area of application. Thanks to the green roof or gravel fill as a superimposed load, additional weights on the roof are not necessary, and roof penetrations are also a thing of the past.
The guardrail system, made of aluminium and stainless steel, impresses with its weather resistance and robustness. The guardrail, in combination with the various individual components, such as the specially developed foot units, posts, booms and connectors, form a harmonious overall system. Installation directly in connection with the green roof or gravel fill means that no additional weight is placed on the roof.
Minimal roof loading
The guardrail system is installed in combination with the green roof structure or a gravel fill. This means that the weight of the existing roof provides the necessary superimposed load for the system, eliminating the need for additional weight.
Height adjustment and inclination option
Depending on the foot variant selected, height adjustment of up to 12.5 cm is possible. In addition, the guardrail can be pitched at 90° or 75°. For an optimal visual result, the guardrail can also be folded down completely with the respective foot.
Secured access
The optional BARRIER-T30 door set provides optimum secured access to and descent from the flat roof.
State of the art certification:
New economical version with the BARRIER-V14 base and an additional post with height adjustment of up to 8 cm and the option of tilting the guardrail by 75°.
