VERT ROPE LIFELINE SYSTEM All-in-One Vertical Lifeline System

The VERT ROPE SYSTEM is used wherever vertical ascents or descents need to be secured. Whether for ladder ascents, shelving or mast systems (with or without ladders) or steel constructions with climbing aids, it provides continuous safety from falls (from a height). With the appropriate slider, deviations of up to 15° from the vertical can be secured effortlessly. It also ensures unhindered gliding along the passable, non-passable system. To keep the fall strain as low as possible, our VERT lifeline system is equipped with state-of-the-art preload and shock absorber elements. The two different fastening options – either via a rail, which serves as a base carrier for attachment to ladders, or using a fastening set directly onto the site’s existing substructure – significantly simplify the installation of the system.

The system is easy to install using a clamping mechanism on ladders or steel constructions.

Greater safety in the event of a fall thanks to consistent rope tension provided by cable pre-tension.

Incorrect use is prevented thanks to the vertical slider with safety function (up & down).

A cost-effective solution, as the use of the VERT-SEILSYSTEM eliminates the need for a back basket.

VERT ROPE LIFELINE SYSTEM - Technical data

The main component of the system is our sturdy and tried-and-tested 8 mm stainless steel cable. The cable, in combination with the various individual components – such as the passable and non-passable intermediate brackets and curve elements, the end lock and the glider with safety function (up & down), which is tailored to the system – together form a coherent, integrated system. When performing the installation on ladders, it is possible to provide further protection at the top of the exit area by fitting an extension with an additional rail.

Reduction in installation effort
The maximum fastening distance along a ladder and when installing on steel substructures is 5 metres. From a cost-effectiveness perspective, the wide fastening distance has a positive impact on the entire installation process.

Easy inspection of operational readiness
The clearly visible rope fixing allows for a precise assessment of the rope clamping and thus a simple check of the rope system’s operational readiness (end lock with viewing window).

Reduction of impact force
The VERT-GLEIT-50 features an integrated energy absorber and reduces the force acting on the user to a maximum of 6 kN.
